I agree with Kamek as well, but somewhat mostly because his ONLY debut in a Mario Kart game was the beta of Mario Kart 64, then called "Super Mario Kart R":  The character select screen with Kamek instead of Donkey Kong Kamek in DK's Jungle Parkway (Strange isn't it?)Is this going off-topic at all?  |

I find it strange that they would have that course in the beta, considering the fact that DK would not have been a playable character if Kamek was finalized.
Either they were thinking on somehow putting off that this course belongs to Kamek (Hah!), or they were planning DK as a secret character.
EDIT: Wasn't Hammer Bro planned as a character in MKWii along with Mii Outfit C?

degolegodyl Yep, I know.  MissingNo2 I doubt that they were planning DK as a secret character, as he/it is a starter character in MKDS and MKW. However, you have an interesting point. I hadn't heard anything about a Hammer Bro being planned in MKW, but I might be wrong.

@zommy08 Ever since MK64, DK has been a staple character, BUT if Kamek had been finalized instead of DK, Kamek might have been a staple character. Either way, it feels like it would be silly of Nintendo to call Jungle Parkway Kamek's course. Maybe there was another course planned for Kamek.
And I haven't heard about Hammer Bro until recently, actually. I think I've seen a way to unlock him along with Mii C in a cheat book.
EDIT: I thought about it for a bit, and looking through the courses in MK64, DK's Jungle Parkway was probably going to just be called "Jungle Parkway" and Banshee Boardwalk was probably going to be "Kamek's Banshee Boardwalk".
