This thread is for you to post interesting news. Try to post news that have a relationship with Mario Kart or Nintendo. You can also post other news, of course, but let's try to keep them with Nintendo. Try to give a reference site where you got that news, or where people can read more about that article. Here's an example: The dates are anticipatedNintendo has told MTV Multiplayer that Super Mario 3D Land will be launching November 13th and Mario Kart 7 will be launching December 4th. The website has taken down the dates presumably because Nintendo wanted to announce them personally. Nintendo 3DS: You Can’t Offer Free Software Such As Demos On The Nintendo 3DS eShop Apparently third-party developers are unable to offer free software on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Developers can offer software at a minimum price but are unable to give away things for free. The limitation explains why third-party developers are unable to offer free demos similar to the ones found on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. Nintendo 3DS: Sega Believes PlayStation Vita Will Be Able To ‘Do Much More’ Than The Nintendo 3DS Mike Hayes, Sega West’s CEO, recently spoke to VG247 about a range of topics concerning Sega. Interestingly enough Hayes believes that Sony’s PlayStation Vita is going to be able to do a lot more than the Nintendo 3DS from a hardcore gamers perspective, though he confesses that they are both ‘two completely different beasts’. “We see the platforms as very different. 3DS, let’s be honest, the hardware didn’t sell as well as expected, so the price moved,” he said. “It’s just a very sensible market reaction I think for Nintendo to do and, obviously, we’re very pleased with that. Hehe, this is funny: Nintendo Wii U: Nintendo Still Doesn’t Own WiiU.Com Uh-oh, it appears as though Nintendo still doesn’t own wiiu.com. Thankfully the company has enough money to purchase this domain and then some, but still you would have thought they would have gained control of the URL quite some time ago. Apparently traffic to wiiu.com was over 3,000 in June, but prior to that it received next to no traffic at all. As for the tracks, the first 2 look like a Luigi Circuit. Number 3 looks like a nighttime version of Mushroom Gorge. The next one is definitely a Mario Circuit from SNES. 5 -  6 - Peach Circuit? Peach's Castle? I dunno. 7 - WTH MASSIVE TOAD?!?!?!? |
